Every dog parent knows what this is like. I used to consider a 5 second rule, but now I don't even want it because of the amount of fur that piece of food probably has on it now. I saw a home decor sign the other day that said "Dog fur is a condiment in this house." Ain't that the truth! Usually if something is in my food that's not supposed to be there I freak out (probably a common reaction). However, now I'm so used to there being fur everywhere, when it ends up in my bowl of cereal it's not even a big deal.
